The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Handles basic document preparation for the drafting of certificates, amendments and agreements for New Issue, Add Issue, and Non-new Business
  • Coordinates request of printing booklets to Millville, and other fulfillment request
  • Partners with internal business contacts to effectively manage our client’s expectations in accordance with the organization’s guidelines.
  • Assists in performing analysis of case comments, product and state rules for resolution and offers solutions that fully address client concerns and system issues.
  • Develops practical and creative solutions to routine problems through teamwork or partnering; escalation to Technical and/or Team Lead and using online resources such as the Contract Issue Database.
  • Works within tight deadlines to handle client request and haste request.
  • Prioritizes, manages and completes multiple tasks in a quality fashion.
  • May be required to update departmental standard operating procedures
  • Meets and/or exceeds the divisional key performance metrics for production, quality and service.
  • Strong working knowledge of Group Insurance products and provisions for the Pru-Value Market
  • Strong working knowledge of the Group Insurance administrative applications (SPARC)
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • PC skills – Microsoft office – EXCEL and WORD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Demonstrates initiative, motivation, flexibility and responsiveness to change.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on the business needs.
