Successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and administration of human resources programs within Prudential Retirement’s Scranton office.  This individual will focus on transactional analysis and process, as well as project work.  Work entails responding and communication on routine HR policy questions, conducting exit interviews, and all paperwork associated with separations.  Individuals in this role support more senior Human Resource Consultants. 

 

Incumbents are responsible for the following:

 

  • HR reporting
  • Metrics
  • Turnover analysis
  • Coordination of disability and FMLA processes
  • Represent HR on various committees such as:  Community Volunteer Council, Diversity Recognition Month, Take Your Child to Work Day
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process and summer internship program
  • Resource for paymaster issues
  • Assist with employee file audit process and file retrieval process
  • Business continuation planning.
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive information

Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong partnering skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • 2-5 years business related experience
  • 2 years experience in an HR discipline such as compensation, staffing, organizational development, and/or benefits is a plus
