The Customer Value Center(CVC)retains Prudential life insurance customers, either by conserving existing business or by offering new products to suit our clients' changing needs. When the CVC receives surrender telephone calls, our registered and licensed representatives listen to customer needs and help them make more informed decisions before surrendering. The division is proactive with their clients with respect to variable products and also tests direct mail marketing offers. Communicating daily over the telephone with Prudential clients, your goal is to reduce product cancellations. The six week paid training program focuses on sales techniques, our products and systems used.
The starting salary is flexible based on sales experience.
The hours are 11:45am to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
This position reports to an Associate Manager in Jacksonville, Florida and a Manager in Plymouth, Minnesota.
-Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to persuade and sell over the telephone.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with clients in order to engage them in discussion.
- Excellent active listening skills and ability to ask appropriate questions to determine client's needs and references.
-Life insurance product knowledge preferred but not required; training is provided.
-1-2 years previous direct telephone sales experience is preferred, or customer service i.e. telemarketing, commission sales, collections, etc.
-NASD registration for series 6 & 63 (Variable) and Florida Life and Variable license desired, but must be acquired as soon as possible and no later than 6 months from hire.
-College degree preferred.
