The Group Life Claims division is sourcing for highly motivated individuals who are looking for a challenging opportunity. The incumbent will review life insurance claims ensuring compliance with established guidelines. The Claims Examiner is responsible for gathering all necessary information for processing, calculating benefits payable, and conducting investigations on claims. The Claims Examiner also approves (to a specified amount) or denies claims in accordance with established procedures. 

Our Claims Examiners work in a highly focused production environment and have the ability to handle multiple tasks within the unit. They are very customer focused, self-motivated, team results driven and work well under pressure. The candidate will learn various PC and mainframe systems, and become familiar with Prudential Group Insurance products. They will be required to communicate and coordinate effectively with other members of the organization and adhere to established quality review and productivity requirements.
Incumbents typically have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. 
Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent written and oral communication skills
