Position can be located in the following locations: Ft. Washington, PA, Newark or Roseland, NJ, Plymouth, MN and Jacksonville, FL.

Responsible for leading a team of project managers accountable for managing the portfolio of technology projects in support of the business and operations and will also personally lead projects. Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle including scope definition, business case development, business analysis and requirements, allocation and coordination of resources, scope management, issue resolution and escalation, risk management, project cost management, implementation coordination, development of innovative solutions, and reporting and tracking project results to senior management. In addition, this role may include coordinating with systems and business partners, setting priorities, acceptance testing, end user training and system roll-out.

The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing the standards and practice of project management for all project management activities across the Demand Management organization.
  •  7+ years relevant project management or program management experience in complex operations and systems environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • PMI certification desired
  • Demonstrated success in delivering technology projects on time and on budget
  • Knowledge and experience in Life Insurance operations and products is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in and the ability to apply principles of change management, risk management, process analysis and joint application development
  • Prior experience in business analysis, requirements development and testing is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, partnering, facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Utilize Microsoft Office desktop applications, including MS Visio and MS Project.
