Key Account Retirement Counselor

The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct Retirement themed educational seminars and hold individual employee consultative meetings in and around New York City (Brooklyn, Long Island, Queens, Manhattan & Bronx) on a daily basis.
Job Specifics:
Activities include but are not limited to:
1. Employee relationship building through individual consultative meetings.
2. Working with internal and external business partners delivering Prudential Retirement Services’ Value Proposition
3. Identify/develop realistic individual retirement goals, recommend appropriate retirement products consistent with client goals, time horizon and assessed risk tolerance.
4. Deliver innovative, total retirement solutions to enable individuals to achieve a secure retirement.
5. Exceed all business goals.
6. Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
· Bachelors Degree (Finance, Business Administration or related field)
· Minimum 3-5 years Investment Guidance experience
· Demonstrated internal/external client relationship skills
· FINRA series 7, 63 and 65 or 66
· State Life and Health Insurance Licenses
· Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment
· Ability to work as an independent contributor within a team environment
· Strong working knowledge of retirement plans
· Ability to present a variety of investment solutions based on investor need
· Proficiency with consultative guidance model
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
